The Summit NEV
Street-legal transportation is available in
the form of the Summit NEV (Neighborhood Electric Vehicle). The Summit is built
to meet applicable federal regulations. They are
street-legal on roads with speed limits up to 35mph (subject to state licensing
regulations). These vehicles require tag, title, and insurance.This
model meets or exceeds the requirements of NHTSA CFR Title 49 - 571.500.
